Apex UK Online Visibility Agent Request an SEO audit

An SEO audit that shows where you are missing, and what to fix first

An SEO audit from Apex UK checks every place a UK business can be found or missed: technical health, local presence, AI answers, authority and real search demand. You get evidenced findings by channel, a competitor comparison, an estimated opportunity and a ranked recommendation.

What we check

The audit runs in six stages. Each has its own page explaining what is checked, who it is for and what you receive.

  1. 01

    Technical SEO audit

Can search engines and AI crawlers reach, read and trust your site?

  2. 02

    Local SEO audit

Your Google Business Profile, the map pack and the geography you actually serve.

  3. 03

    AI visibility audit

Whether AI Overviews and assistants mention you, and whether their crawlers can reach you.

  4. 04

    Backlink audit

Who links to you and vouches for you, compared with the competitors you lose to.

  5. 05

    Keyword research

What people actually type when they need what you do, measured business-wide.

  6. 06

    Website structure plan

The pages you need, what each must answer, and a build that follows it.

Findings by channel

Every finding is reported by the channel it was found in: organic results, the map pack and AI answers. For each service you offer you see the phrase it was checked as, whether it was found on page one, and at which geographic level. Nothing is scored on a curve. The deck shows what was searched and what came back.

The competitor comparison

For each search that matters to you, the audit names the competitor that ranked best and estimates the clicks lost to them each month. It also compares your backlink authority and estimated organic traffic with the business just above you and with the page-one leader.

Comparisons use the same public data sources for every business named, and the deck states which sources were used and when.

Estimated opportunity

What closing the gap is worth, expressed as an estimated range of additional monthly enquiries with the assumptions written out. It is a model built from your own demand and visibility data, not a forecast, and it is never presented as a promise.

The recommendation, and what happens after the audit

The audit ends with a ranked recommendation: up to ten actions, each stating what was found, why it matters, what to do, how easy it is and its relative expected impact. You can act on it yourself, with the Apex assistant on this site for step-by-step guides, or ask us to carry it out.

Ongoing SEO strategy is that second path: continued work against your own plan, tracked against your own trend data rather than industry averages. It is scoped and agreed after the audit, never bundled into it.

Questions people ask before an SEO audit

Do you offer SEO audit services for small businesses?

Yes. The audit is built for UK businesses of any size that depend on being found. The stages are the same for everyone; the searches, places and competitors checked are yours.

Is this a one-off SEO audit service or an ongoing contract?

The audit is a one-off piece of work with a defined deliverable. Ongoing strategy is separate and optional, and is only scoped afterwards if you want it.

Is an SEO audit the same as website audit services?

Mostly. A website audit usually means the technical and on-page checks, which are one stage here. This SEO audit also covers your local presence, AI answers, authority and search demand, because being missing from any of them costs enquiries.

What do I need to provide?

Your business name, website and the services you want checked. The audit works from what is publicly visible, so it does not need access to your accounts.
